Fluke ESA 609
ESA609 electrical safety analyser is a rugged, portable and easy-to-use tester for performing general electrical safety tests. Designed for on-the-go technicians, the ESA609 requires no user training and has a rubberised enclosure that withstands the stresses of transport and prevents damage from accidental dropping.
In addition, its functional belt and feather-light design make it one of the most mobile electrical safety analysers in its class. The heavy-duty switches allow the user to easily change the polarity and configuration of the neutral connection between open and closed, while push-button operation allows a quick transition from test to test, allowing complete basic tests to be completed in minutes. ESA609 has all the features needed to test medical devices in situations where no patient wire testing is required, including: Line (mains) voltage, resistance of the ground wire (protective conductor), device current, leakage current and point-to-point tests.
ESA609 is versatile applicable to the international standards for electrical safety and conforms to ANSI/AAMI ES1, NFPA-99 and parts of IEC62353 and IEC60601-1.
